Challenge and doing the impossible.

Night time riding, crew getting bored as I average a slow speed.
What are you most looking forward to in the Race Around Ireland?
Atmosphere, comradeship, sense of teamwork and achievement.

Past An Ras Tailteann and Tour of Ireland cyclist, competed on America cycling circuit and was a competitor in the Tour of Israel.
Who do you most admire in sport and why?
Joe Barr for winning last year.
Greg Lemond for his comeback after his near tragic accident.
Lance Armstrong for his charitable work.
JJ Mc Cormack ex Irish Road Race Champion and founder of the Irish Junior Tour, for his time devotion to cycling and offering everyone a chance in the sport from administrators to competitors.
Offaly football team stopping Kerry’s 5 in a row and Offaly’s hurling team of the 80’s and 90’s.
