We are cycling the race to raise funds for Aware, a voluntary organisation formed in 1985. Since its foundation, Aware has been working energetically to bring support to depression sufferers and their families, and to dispel the myths and misunderstandings of this devastating illness.
 
Some friends have lost their lives to depression adn we want to raise money and awareness to this important cause.

What made you make up your mind to take part in this event?

As soon as I heard about it my mind was made up. I have always wanted to do something like this.

Have cycle toured all over the world (almost) I have been a bicycle courier for 10 years and I mountain bike most weekends.

Who do you most admire in sport and why?

Lance Armstrong. I admire his drive and determination
