How did you hear about the Race Around Ireland? 

I competed and finished in last year's race

What made you make up your mind to take part in this event?

A personal challenge and the fun we had last year.

What concerns do you have about the Race Around Ireland?

Weather and toilet facilities

What are you most looking forward to in the Race Around Ireland?

Team finishing safely and in higher placing than last year. The craic and the pasta and more pasta and more pasta. The great support from our crew

Cycling or athletic history, cycling results etc?

Won the Vet section in Club Race (how sad). 1000’s of miles – 15,000 more klms than this time last year.

Who do you most admire in sport and why?

Still Lance Armstrong. He is still going strong even after all he has been through with his health.

What is your motto for the Race Around Ireland?

Been there – done that –doing it again!

No, but we live in hope
