Are you cycling this Event for a Charity or an Organisation, if so which one and why?
This foundation was started by Marc Herremans in 2003 a Belgian Triathlete to support other disabled people in sports. Marc finished 6th in the Ironman of Hawaii in 2001, and was set to hopefully win the next year. Unfortunately, during a bike training exercise in Lanzarote in January 2002, fell on a dangerous bend and is now paralysed from his stomach to his feet. Marc refused to be discouraged and started training for the Ironman of Hawaii, this time as a wheelchair athlete. In 2006, he finally succeeded in his goal, he was the first wheelchair athlete to arrive at the finish of the Ironman of Hawaii.
